Transferring into Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ

Ìý

A student who wishes to transfer to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ from another higher education institution must submit an Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ application and a complete transcript of all academic work they have completed at the other higher education institution(s). Student transfer is carried out on the basis of transcript analysis by the Attestation Committee which consists of the President, Vice President for Academic Affairs, department chairs and Registrar’s Office staff members.Ìý In case of a positive decision of the Attestation Committee, the HR office issues an order of admission.Ìý

Only courses which match the degree offerings at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ will be considered for transfer. Only courses with a grade of C or higher (in the letter-grade system) or 3 or higher (in the former Soviet numerical system) will be accepted for transfer. Grade “Passedâ€ will be accepted only for Sports and Music classes. Grades for courses not taken at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ or taken at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ as an exchange student will not apply to the student’s GPA at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. Prospective transfer students should consult the General Academic Regulations section and/or contact the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Admissions Office for more information.
